Hi, I’m Aoi!
My K-Beauty journey started 5 years ago when a friend gifted me a jar of COSRX snail mucin cream. Coming from a background of mostly Japanese drugstore skincare, I was honestly shocked by how much my skin changed — and I’ve been hooked ever since.
On this blog, I only write about products I’ve actually tried on my own skin. Since I have dry, sensitive skin, my reviews tend to focus on gentle, barrier-friendly formulas — so if that sounds like your skin type too, I hope you’ll find this useful.
I try to be honest rather than just chasing trends. If something didn’t work for me, I’ll say so, even if it’s all over social media. Some reviews might be a little more critical than others, but that’s the whole point — real experiences, not just hype.
Whenever I travel to Korea, visiting Olive Young and the beauty shops in Myeongdong is a non-negotiable part of the trip. Lately I’ve also been getting into Korean hair care and body care, not just skincare.
